With over 10 years of experience, these mountain guides offer freeriding in the best powder spots of Les Deux Alpes and La Grave.

All their guides speak English and are fully qualified ski instructors who can also give you useful tips on how to excel off-piste.
Safety equipment can be provided on your behalf but you are welcome to bring your own. Items that are mandatory are a transceiver, shovel and probe. They also ask that all clients wear helmets. Your guides will show you how to use all the kit, when you need to use it and why.
The guides take up to 4 people per group which is €140 for 2 hours, or if there is just 1 of you it is €88 for 2 hours. Whole day outings are also available.
Worth knowing
They will provide you with the obligatory avalanche safety kit, transceiver, shovel and probe if you don't already have them. All you need to do is bring your helmet!
Firstrax also has a large ski and snowboard rental shop, so you can organise your lessons and pick up your equipment all under the same roof.
Who should go
If you have not already tried going off-piste before, then this would be a fantastic first time experience in complete safety, suitable for those that are confident on red and black runs.
If you regularly head straight for the powder, then these guides are definitely worth booking to show you the best as well as safest parts to explore in this resort.
