About Summer Lift Pass Options in Les Deux Alpes
Les Deux Alpes is a summer resort that offers it all; Europes largest ski resort glacier, over 100km of certified mountain bike terrain, a golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts trampolines and more. What you do in Les Deux Alpes in the summer is up to you and will depend on which lift pass you opt for.
Summer skiing passes
The 2 Alpes glacier at 3200m is the largest skiable glacier in France and has one of the best summer parks in Europe. The facilities on the glacier are ideal for ski race training, freestyle and half-pipe and a pass grants access to the Jandri lifts all the way to the summit. Due to the weather affecting conditions, you can only get access in the morning betwee 07:00 and 12:00, so if you want to ski or snowboard be prepared to get up early! Passes are available from 1-15 days. 2-5 day passes give you access to the swimming pool (once per day), 3 trips on the luge and 1 hour of tennis for 2 people and passes for 6 days+ give you access to the swimming pool (once per day), 6 trips on the luge, 1 hour of tennis for 2 people, 1 go on the golf putting area, 1 go on the archery, 1 day of mountain biking in any of the 4 Galaxie areas; Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre & Puy St Vincent, plus you get a discount on the Adventure park in Venosc.
Mountain bike passes
Mountain bike passes for 2 Alpes cover four sectors in resort, from just below the glacier on the Jandri side, the Valley Blanche and the villages of Mont de Lans and Venosc. Passes are available to buy from a half day morning or afternoon up to two weeks. Passes of 2-5 days get access to all the pedestrian lifts as well as all the bike lifts and Passes of 6 days & over get access to all the pedestrian lifts as well as all the bike lifts, 1 free day at the bike areas of Alpe d'Huez, Serre Chevalier, Puy Saint Vincent and Montgenevre & a preferential rate at the Venosc adventure park.
Family passes are available for 2 Adults between the ages of 19 and 71 years of age & 2 children between 5-18 years old. Family discounts apply to pedestrian passes, summer glacier and mountain biking. See the summer pass prices page to compare the difference.
Children under 5 and adults of 72 years and over get to take any of the summer lifts for free. Proof of ID required.
Access the resort on foot and explore the variety of hiking routes on offer in the summer months. Take in the views from the glacier of the surrounding mountains with a 1 day glacier pass or take single or return trips on La Tourra, Valley Blanche, Village, Cretes and Le Diable lifts. Mont de Lans lifts are free for pedestrians. Paragliders also have access to the pedestrian lifts.
