Extra flights to Grenoble for winter 2018/19

Planning a ski holiday in the Alps has gotten even easier

featured in News & reviews Author Brian Kieran, Les 2 Alpes Editor Updated

If you’re planning a trip to Les 2 Alpes this winter, new flight routes from the UK to Grenoble are making it even easier to go skiing in the French Alps.

Thomas Cook, Jet2 and Wizz air are all adding extra flights from the UK to Grenoble Alpes Isere airport from December. Thomas Cook will be flying from Birmingham and Gatwick airports, Jet2 form Birmingham, and Wizz Air from Luton. Prices start form £83 and will run until April 6th, 2019. For those who don't like to fly there is always the Eurostar overnight train, which is now available to book for winter 2018/19.

The direct service to Moutiers, Aime la Plagne, and Bourg St Maurice gives access to a whole host of ski resorts, with two services weekly from London on Friday night and Saturday morning, with additional overnight services on Saturday during school holidays. Cheaper than flights plus transfers for certain dates, Eurostar also offer a generous baggage allowance with each passenger able to bring two suitcases, one hand luggage, and skis or a snowboard, all included in the cost.
