What's New in Les Deux Alpes?

Next week Les Deux Alpes' glacier will provide a spectacular setting for a new festival in the resort, the Snow Electro Fest. The festival will combine freestyle ski and snowboard comps and displays in the resort's Snow Park to a soundtrack provided by live DJs by day, and by night the parties will continue in the bars and clubs of the resort.

On Wednesday (28th) and Thursday (29th) there will be open comps for Kids, Rookies and Seniors, with freestyle displays by the Santa Cruz International Team, the Drake-Northwave Team from Italy, the Nordica Freestyle Team, Team Nazca and Team SMK.

The DJ line-up for the week includes British DJ Leeroy Thornhill, previously part of The Prodigy who will be playing at l'Opera on Sunday night.

The music programme is as follows:

24th - Aperitif: Le Cafe Brèsilien : Senzafreni and Raina (ragga‐hip hop night), Low Killa
25th - Special night: l’Operà with LEEROY THORNHILL (ex PRODIGY) and DJ Gengis
27th - Electro/breakz night @ L’Avalanche with live set Lory D (Rephlex_SNS), DJ Gengis, Low Killa, Nax Acid
29th - Special Night: l’Operà”Dhr muzik team” Feat. Don Rico e Terron Fabio (Sud Sound System), Senzafreni and Raina
30th ‐ Closing Party: l’Avalanche with a jam session by all the DJs who performed during the festival
