Le Panoramic
Situated at 2600m just down from Jandri Express mid station, La Toura is a lovely wooden chalet-style restaurant. It serves all types of local foods, including regional cheeses, fondues and raclettes, along with 3 and 5 course menus. There is also a kids menu. Expect to pay 15-25€ for a main course. If you are not up for sitting inside there is a large outdoor terrace with reclining seats, for those who would like to bask in the sun all day long.
Also situated at 2600m, Le Panoramic restaurant is a traditional log-cabin style with an open fire inside and a wonderful terrace, which combine to give this restaurant a great atmosphere for lunch. Within walking distance of Jandri Express mid station, it is ideal for non skiers wishing to experience the mountain air.
La Fee is a bit of a hidden treasure in Les Deux Alpes, located in the La Fee valley at 2200m. The restaurant terrace is a beautiful spot for lunch on a sunny day and the service is very good. Well worth a visit to experience the silence of the valley and stunning south facing views.
Self Service atLa Patache
<La Patache serves traditional French mountain food ie lots of meat, cheese and potatoes – basic components of the ever-popular Tartiflette! There is also a daily special and a choice of homemade cakes and deserts. This popular restaurant has a great sunny terrace and the options of table service in the bar-restaurant or a quick bite at the Patachon self-service snack bar. The sun drenched deckchairs and spectacular views make this worth a visit.
At the top of the Télécabine du Diable is Le Diable au Cœur, a large bustling restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Its open fire and regional cuisine help make it popular and lively; starters range from 9€ to 15€, pasta dishes and omelettes are good value at around the same price and main meals start at 13.50€ and go up to 17.50€ for a meat/fish dish. The owner is the son of Mdm and Mr Mounier of Le P’tit Polyte.
