James takes to the lifts with a bike this time to explore the mountain bike trails of Les Deux Alpes. With over thirty slopes open to bikers, catering for all ages and abilities, Les Deux Alpes has one of the most vibrant downhill mountain bike scenes in Europe. There are 28 downhill tracks and 5 cross country tracks spread across 107km of slope and a bike park with four cross, slopestyle, and dirt lines. And with ten lifts open througout the summer you don't even have to pedal up to enjoy the ride down.

Coming to the mountains in the summer and not getting out on a bike is like going to Vegas and not hitting the tables but if you are new to mountain biking it can be a daunting and expensive new hobby. The best thing to do is to get some advice and imformation from the people in the know and who better than the staff in Chamonix's Zero-G?
